Personal Training

North Loop Fitness will revolutionize how you think about exercise, your body and your life. Most weight training machines that you find at your typical health club take the function out of body movements, restricting your muscles’ full potential. Our holistic approach uses total-body movements, agility training and weightlifting while simultaneously giving your body a metabolic interval workout. We customize strength training programs and nutrition programs that will deliver you dramatic results when followed consistently. This approach will enable you to reform bad habits and stay fit for life.

Led by owner Rob Duggan, our expert trainers follow a comprehensive four-step process to make sure you acquire the skills and get the guidance you need:

  1. Step 1. Evaluation: We conduct a basic health and fitness assessment to establish a baseline and identify areas for improvement.
  2. Step 2. Goal-Setting: We create targeted and personalized fitness goals.
  3. Step 3. Workout Design: We take every client through a personalized workout, teaching correct movements and techniques. We also create personal workout routines for clients to follow between sessions.
  4. Step 4. Measurement: We perform periodic check-ins to track progress against your goals and keep you accountable.

North Loop Fitness provides an ideal training environment with a clean, modern facility and state-of-the-art equipment, plus some surprising training apparatuses you likely have never seen before.

Rob Duggan

In 2006, Rob opened North Loop Fitness to share his passion for fitness and help others achieve their goals. When he's not training clients, you can find Rob helping members improve their form, adjust their routines or even two-stepping to the music track playing over the gym's sound system (yes, he's that good!). Rob has learned over many years that there's certain steps that have to be in place in order to get healthier. Quality sleep, quality nutrition, a focused mind and being specific about your own needs. Then, learn how to train. You must learn how to develop strong mechanics and coordinated movement. There are no shortcuts, but there are certainly ways to be much more efficient with your training.

The objective is to teach people how to align, stabilize and connect their bodies. Not only does this create incredible body awareness, but it also develops a very strong platform for people to build off of - for future performance, and longevity. We are training for something bigger and better than just for today

If you've been doing the same old exercise routines without accomplishing your goals (20 minutes on the elliptical machine two days per week and fad diets are not gonna cut it), it's time to try a fresh, new approach at North Loop Fitness.
